Vladimir Zelensky reported on his Telegram channel that he had a telephone conversation with US President Joe Biden.
He thanked the American leader for his unwavering support for Ukraine and announced that long-range weapons would be supplied to Ukraine.
Earlier, the White House reported that Biden allocated a new package of military aid to Ukraine worth $425 million.
“Grateful to President Biden, both parties of Congress and the American people for the $425 million defense package announced today, which includes new air defense systems and long-range weapons,” Zelensky wrote.
