Politico named seven countries that do not want Ukraine to join NATO

In addition to Germany and the United States, Hungary, Slovakia, Belgium, Slovenia and Spain are opposed to inviting Ukraine into the North Atlantic Alliance. Politico writes about this, citing sources.

The publication said that key NATO members are "concerned about the possibility of being drawn into a war with Russia."

 “Countries like Belgium, Slovenia or Spain are hiding behind the US and Germany. They don’t want (Ukraine joining the alliance),” said one of the officials of the military bloc.

According to another NATO official, these countries “abstractly support” Ukraine’s entry into the alliance, but once it comes to implementation, “they will publicly oppose this idea.”
