According to the US, Iran's attack on Israel could begin on Monday, August 5.
The night before, Tel Aviv announced preparations for a multi-day attack from Iran and the Lebanese Hezbollah movement; similar scenarios are associated with the assassination of the head of the Politburo of the Palestinian Hamas movement, Ismail Haniyeh, in Iran.
Tehran refused to soften its reaction to this event and promised to retaliate, despite the likelihood of war.
