Η εφημερίδα Ραντικάλ στον ιστότοπό της υποστηρίζει ότι ο φάκελος σχετίζεται με τέσσερις υπουργούς: τον υπουργό Εσωτερικών Μουαμέρ Γκιουλέρ, τον υπουργό Οικονομίας Ζαφέρ Τσαγλαγιάν, τον υπουργό Περιβάλλοντος και Πολεοδομίας Ερντογάν Μπαϊρακτάρ, καθώς και τον υπουργό αρμόδιο για θέματα Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης Εγκεμέν Μπαγίς. Σημειώνεται ότι οι γιοι των τριών πρώτων υπουργών έχουν ήδη προσαχθεί.
Σύμφωνα με την εφημερίδα τα στοιχεία της εισαγγελικής έρευνας δείχνουν ότι ενδέχεται να σημειώθηκαν ατασθαλίες δισεκατομμυρίων δολαρίων. Η εφημερίδα στον ιστότοπό της γράφει επίσης ότι μόλις ολοκληρωθεί η εισαγγελική έρευνα θα ζητηθεί από την εθνοσυνέλευση η άρση της ασυλίας των εν λόγω υπουργών.
Σιγά-σιγά πάντως εμφανίζονται τα στοιχεία που συνηγορούν υπέρ της άποψης ότι πρόκειται για εξέλιξη στο πλαίσιο του πολέμου μεταξύ της κυβέρνησης Ερντογάν και του θρησκευτικού τάγματος του Φετχουλάχ Γκιουλέν.
Το τάγμα, μεταξύ άλλων έχει διεισδύσει σε σημαντικό βαθμό στο χώρο της δικαιοσύνης και της αστυνομίας. Η διείσδυση αυτή σε συνδυασμό με τη συμμαχία της κυβέρνησης με το τάγμα, ήταν ο βασικός μοχλός με τον οποίο πραγματοποιήθηκαν οι εισαγγελικές έρευνες στις σημαντικές υποθέσεις των τελευταίων ετών όπως η υποθέσεις Εργκενεκόν, Βαριοπούλα κλπ.
Ενδιαφέρον παρουσιάζει και το μήνυμα του Γιαλτσίν Ακντογάν, συμβούλου του πρωθυπουργού, μέσω του ιστοτόπου κοινωνικής δικτύωσης Twitter: «Η ανταπόδοση της κακίας αυξάνει την αντιπαλότητα και το μίσος και οδηγεί τους ανθρώπους στην ήττα εκατέρωθεν». Με άλλα λόγια, ο Άκντογαν προειδοποιεί ότι όσο συνεχίζεται ο πόλεμος μεταξύ του τάγματος και της κυβέρνησης, τελικά θα ζημιωθούν και οι δύο.
Τα τουρκικά μέσα ενημέρωσης αναφέρουν ότι η σχετική εισαγγελική έρευνα πραγματοποιήθηκε με άκρα μυστικότητα και ότι ακόμη και ο πρωθυπουργός Ερντογάν δεν ενημερώθηκε σχετικά παρά μετά τις προσαγωγές.
Σε ομιλία που έκανε σήμερα στο Ικόνιο, ο Ερντογάν δεν αναφέρθηκε άμεσα στην υπόθεση. Είπε ωστόσο ότι «εάν κάποιοι έχουν όπλα και κανόνια ή είναι δολοπλόκοι, κι εμείς έχουμε το Θεό μαζί μας».

Turkey's EU Minister strongly refutes charges in corruption probe...
ReplyDeleteEU Minister Egemen Bağış has become the first minister to issue a public statement on his involvement as a suspect in the massive corruption probe, strongly refuting the charges and denouncing alleged efforts to “build a parallel state within the state.”
“In recent days, in print and visual media and on the Internet, a series of news stories and comments regarding the ongoing investigation in Istanbul are being made. Accusatory and slanderous assessment are being made about myself,” Bağış said in a written statement issued on the evening of Dec. 20.
“Irresponsible reporting being made within this framework is completely based on misleading and speculative information. These scenarios are being deliberately produced and are completely false … and are part of an outrageous conspiracy,” he added.
The sons of three members of the Cabinet – Interior Minister Muammer Güler, Economy Minister Zafer Çağlayan and Environment and Urban Planning Minister Erdoğan Bayraktar - have been detained as part of the investigation. Bağış’s name is also being cited in news reports as being involved in a large bribery scandal, including allegations that he facilitated the issuing of Turkish citizenship and passports for gang members.
“Those who have been instrumental in smear campaigns of organizations, and gangs that have been exerting efforts to build a parallel state within the state, have become evident in terms of both execution without trial and assassination of personality,” was the phrase used by Bağış in describing the alleged circles behind the operation targeting the government.
The term “parallel state” is commonly used by critics of the followers of the U.S.-based Islamic scholar Fethullah Gülen, many of whom have been employed in the judicial and security bureaucracy.
Bağış said those who are instrumental in these circles are committing a “big crime,” adding that he had initiated legal processes against those who “reflect nonsense, and who claim to have found evidence for these denigrations in a way that would lead to a judgment [of me].”

EU Minister Bağış vows to close ranks within the gov't at handover ceremony...
ReplyDeleteThe government is aware they should close the ranks more against the powers that want to divide them and create trouble, EU Minister Egemen Bağış said at a handover ceremony to his successor Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.
“There has always been and will be powers who want to create trouble. We will disappoint these traps altogether,” Bağış said on Dec. 26 speaking at the ceremony following the Cabinet reshuffle on Dec. 25, which came hours after the resignation of three top ministers due to their involvement in a graft probe.
There will be fellowship with the Prime Minister “till the grave,” he noted.
“We are aware we should close the ranks more. We will pull together to develop this country with those who bless us, not the ones that curse us,” Bağış said in an indirect reference to the Islamic Scholar Fethullah Gülen, whose video tape indirectly cursing the government was released recently.
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced the new Cabinet which included changes on 10 portfolios following a meeting with President Abdullah Gül on Dec. 25.

Turquie: un nouveau projet de loi pour contrôler internet...
ReplyDeleteLe gouvernement turc a déposé au Parlement un projet de loi qui instaure un contrôle très strict sur internet, notamment en autorisant la surveillance des activités des utilisateurs ou en bloquant certains mots-clé.
Ce texte doit permettre à l'autorité gouvernementale en charge des télécommunications de limiter l'accès aux sites de partage de vidéos, de conserver pendant deux ans un dossier des activités de chaque internaute sur le web en listant les sites qu'il a visités et les mots-clé qu'il a utilisés, ou sur les réseaux sociaux.
Ce projet est destiné à "protéger la famille, les enfants et la jeunesse des informations qui, sur internet, encourage la consommation de drogues, les abus sexuels et le suicide", a expliqué le journal Hürriyet, qui a révélé l'information.
Selon ce quotidien proche de l'opposition, le gouvernement islamo-conservateur envisage également de créer une nouvelle entité à laquelle tous les fournisseurs d'accès à internet seraient contraints d'appartenir.
Dans un "rapport sur la transparence" publié le mois dernier, le géant de l'internet Google a classé la Turquie, avec la Chine, au premier rang des censeurs du web, avec une hausse de 966% du nombre de demandes de retraits d'informations sur les six derniers mois.
"La Turquie n'est pas la Chine et ne le deviendra jamais", a plaidé mercredi le vice-Premier ministre et porte-parole de l'AKP Huseyin Celik, interrogé sur le texte soumis au Parlement.
"N'y a-t-il pas un consensus dans ce pays en faveur de lois pour réguler les réseaux sociaux et internet ? Nous pouvons mettre en place des règles fondées sur les normes en place partout ailleurs dans le monde", a-t-il ajouté.
En 2008, la plateforme de distribution de vidéo YouTube avait été interdite en Turquie après avoir diffusé des images montrant des supporteurs de football grecs se moquant des Turcs. L'interdiction avait été levée deux ans plus tard sur décision de justice.
Le Premier ministre turc Recep Tayyip Erdogan est lui-même un adversaire résolu des réseaux sociaux. Lors de la fronde antigouvernementale de juin dernier, il avait qualifié de "fauteur de trouble" le réseau de micro-blogging Twitter, instrument de communication privilégié des manifestants qui réclamaient sa démission.
Son Parti de la justice et du développement (AKP) a toutefois récemment annoncé la création d'un réseau de plusieurs milliers de jeunes militants chargés de propager ses idées sur les réseaux sociaux.
